The answers to your questions about health and wellness are within you. There is a lot of noise out there; a lot of chatter and ideas. Some say carbs are bad. Some say fat is the enemy. Some say high intensity interval training is the only exercise worth doing. Some say supplements are good, while others say that supplements are a scam.
Blah, blah, blah.
We cannot possibly know what is best for another, however we CAN find out what is best for ourselves. It's easy to fall prey to all the experts out there. After all, there has been so much conflicting information about fitness, food, and health. It's no wonder we are confused! Sometimes, they can speak with such conviction, it causes us to second guess ourselves.
Don't take someone else's word for it. They don't know anything about you. They don't know when you're hungry, what you're good at or what you need. But, you do. Honestly. You really, really do. You only need to pay attention.
So, do yourself a favor. Take in ALL the information you hear and read with a grain of salt. Give it some consideration and mull it over, but only follow other people's advice if it FEELS LIKE the right course of action for you.
It doesn't matter how great the Paleo Diet was for your cousin. It doesn't matter how much your best friend loves doing Zumba. It really doesn't matter. It only matters as it pertains to you.
You are the only expert on YOU. Period.
